Zanily interpreting the alphabet into designs of graphic checks and patterns of surreal stripes, delve into the Liberty Letters collection – created in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary design studio Pentagram. The team at Pentagram were invited to build a new type of textile print, based on the new typeface and logo they created for Liberty, creating a series of playful and unexpected typographic executions and patterns which perfectly captured the unapologetically eccentric sprit of Liberty. The Liberty Fabrics designers worked with these typographic patterns, incorporating words evocative of Liberty – before rescaling, recolouring and reimagining these to make the Liberty alphabet dance. The result is a collection that celebrates typography in an explosion of geometric pattern available in 10 bold and contemporary designs.
